MIMO TOYS — ABOUT US
====================

Why We Started
--------------

Let's be honest about something first: handing a kid a tablet is not a
parenting failure.

Sometimes dinner needs to get made. Sometimes the drive is four hours long.
Sometimes you just need twenty minutes. Screens are designed by very smart
people to be very hard to put down — that's not a character flaw in your
four-year-old, and it isn't one in you either.

But we noticed something in how parents talk about it. There's a low hum of
guilt underneath. The twenty minutes that turned into an hour. The quiet
math you do in your head about how much is too much. And then the second
guess when you buy a toy instead — is this one actually good, or is it just
another plastic thing with "educational" printed on the box?

That's a lot of small decisions to carry around. We started MIMO TOYS to
take a few of them off your plate.

The idea was simple: make the screen-free option so genuinely fun that you
don't have to talk anyone into it. A toy earns its way into a kid's hands or
it doesn't. No amount of good intentions on the packaging will save a boring
one — and a toy your child ignores isn't a win for anybody.

Our Story
---------

MIMO TOYS is a small business based in the United States. We're not a big
company, and we're not trying to become one. We're a small team that spends
an unreasonable amount of time thinking about how kids play and what makes
a toy last longer than a weekend.

Every product has to clear the same bar before we'll carry it, and the bar
is basically one question: would a parent feel good watching their kid play
with this?

In practice that means it has to hold attention without a battery doing the
work, teach something real — patience, problem-solving, motor skills,
curiosity — and survive being dropped, chewed, and dragged through a
backpack.

Plenty of toys fail that test and would still sell fine. We pass on them.
We'd rather keep a small shelf we can stand behind than build a big catalog
we can't. If you've ever scrolled through a giant online toy store and had
no idea which listings were real, that's exactly the feeling we're trying to
spare you.

Being small has trade-offs. No warehouse in every state, no call center.
What we do have is people who know the products, read every message, and
care whether the thing you ordered actually worked out.

Our Mission
-----------

We're here for parents, grandparents, teachers, and anyone shopping for a
kid who wants something better than another blinking plastic thing.

Our mission is to make screen-free play the easy choice instead of the
virtuous one. You shouldn't have to research, cross-check reviews, and hope
for the best just to find a toy that's worth your money and your child's
time. That's our job. You should be able to pick something, trust it, and
move on with your day.

And to be clear: we're not here to talk you out of screens. That's not
realistic and we're not going to pretend otherwise. We just want to make
sure there's something equally appealing sitting on the other side of the
room — so that when your kid reaches for it on their own, you get a small,
quiet win you didn't have to fight for.

Our Promise to You
------------------

**On quality.** We test what we sell. If a product doesn't hold up, we stop
carrying it — even if it's selling well. Materials, finishes, and safety
matter to us because they'd matter to us as customers.

**On customer care.** Write to us and a real person reads it and writes
back. If something arrives damaged, arrives late, or just isn't right for
your child, tell us and we'll make it right. We'd rather lose a sale than
leave you stuck with something you're unhappy with.

**On honest marketing.** We'll never sell you anything by making you feel
like a bad parent. No countdown-clock panic, no scary statistics about
screen time, no promises that a wooden puzzle will turn your child into a
genius. We'll tell you what a toy does, who it's for, and what it doesn't
do — and we'll be upfront when something's on backorder or shipping slower
than usual, rather than letting you find out on your own.

You have a lot of options online, and trusting a small shop with your order
is a real decision. We take that seriously.

Buy the toy. Enjoy the quiet. No guilt required.
